FIRE PITS
We aim to make your stay with us as comfortable and relaxing as possible. Who doesn’t love to sit around a camp fire ?? Each bell tent has an allocated fire pit a safe distance from the tent. Firelighters and matches are provided along with your first net of logs.
VEHICLE ACCESS
Glamping @ the paddocks aims to provide a safe and relaxing enviroment for all, therefore the bell tent paddock is strictly NO VEHICLES. Allocated parking is just a short walk away, outside the paddock gate. Please let us know if you have any mobility issues and require a hand to unload and someone will be happy to help.
SHOWER FACILITIES
With our shower facilities guests can enjoy a hot shower with our brand new purpose built individually allocated hot gas showers. Your allocated shower with spacious changing area will be yours for the entirety of your stay.
COOK SHACKS
Glamping at the paddocks provides each bell tent with a newly built cookshack with 2 gas rings and grill. Pots,pans, cutlery, plates, and everything you need in the kitchen is provided for you to use during your stay. Coolboxes are provided and freeze blocks can be changed on request.
BBQ
We're happy to provide our guests with a BBQ and complimentary charcoal for your first dinner outside ! However we ask that BBQ's are not moved closer to the tents in order to prevent a fire hazard.
TOILETS
To comply with planning legislation and strict laws regarding waste in National parks , Glamping @ the paddocks has, for our first season worked closely with a local company to provide each bell tent with an allocated fully serviced Portaloo. These are professionally emptied and cleaned thoroughly every week by the company. The toilets are situated a short walk from the bell tents.
DOGS
Don’t leave your four legged friends behind ! Glamping @ the paddocks is a dog friendly site and welcomes up to 2 well behaved dogs per bell tent. We ask that dogs are please kept off the beds. Water bowls are provided. Glamping @ the paddocks is based on a working farm with livestock therefore we ask that dogs are kept on leads at all times on site. An adjoining dog exercise paddock is provided for your convenience and dogs may be exercised under control off the lead in this area. For total peace of mind when exercising your dog off the lead you may want to book a time slot in our securely 6ft fenced , 1 acre plus dog exercise paddock just a short walk down the lane (Pooches @ the paddocks) Please clean up after your dogs, poo bags and bins are provided.
LIGHTING
Glamping @ the paddocks is completely off grid however solar lights, led lanterns and torches are all provided for your convenience. Lights are also provided in the showers, toilets and cook shacks so you can enjoy your stay at Glamping @ the paddocks no matter what time of day or night ! Although we like our guests to relax and unwind away from hectic everyday life we appreciate mobile phones can be a necessity and solar chargers are provided. All you need is your USB lead.
SEATING
Glamping @ the paddocks provides each bell tent with its own large hand crafted locally made heavy duty picnic bench. 2 chairs are provided inside each bell tent.
